A Christmas Star

Click the pic for Rumpydog's Holiday Poetry Challenge. Okay, because it's for Christmas...

This has probably been done a thousand times, but it seemed too cute not to try. 🙂

A
star
is
high
in the
night sky
guiding kings
while angels sing
to witness the birth
of a new savior for earth
and now today we celebrate
in songs remembering that date
while sharing presents, love and joy
the gift, so long ago, of a newborn boy
Merry
Christmas!
